Pettersen and Other Top LPGA Players Bound for Bulle Rock

Suzann Pettersen, defending champion of the McDonald's LPGA Championship, Presented by Coca-Cola, is set to return to Bulle Rock this June. Championship week is slated to begin on Monday, June 2nd with the two-day LPGA Pro-Am, the LPGA Practice Round on Wednesday, June 4th, and Championship play on Thursday, June 5th through Sunday, June 8th. Pettersen will be joined by the top women golfers in the world, including Lorena Ochoa, Annika Sorenstam, Se Ri Pak, Christie Kerr, Morgan Pressel and Paula Creamer.

The 2008 Championship offers the potential for unparalleled competition as Pettersen stands as the #3 player in the world, third only behind Lorena Ochoa and Annika Sorenstam in the Rolex Rankings. She earned this position as a result of her triumphant 2007 season, which included 6 other Top-10 finishes, most notably winning the Michelob Ultra Open at Kingsmill and a T2 finish at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
